ARES Shipyard and Meteksan Savunma are cooperating on ULAQ Turkey’s first Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle (AUSV). Roketsan will provide CİRİT guided missile and L-Umtas long-range anti-tank missile to the platform.
Roketsan’s both missiles are designed to be used from air to ground and surface to surface missions. Roketsan also has experience on naval platforms. Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Rocket and Launcher System, and Atmaca Anti-Ship Missile are two known products. Both are launched from naval platforms. ASW has no guidance. Atmaca is guided by Inertial Navigation System, Global Positioning System, Barometric Altimeter, Radar Altimeter and uses Active RF as seeker.

ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile
The 2.75” Laser Guided Missile CİRİT is optimized for use against stationary or moving lightly armoured/unarmoured targets. The 2.75” Laser Guided Missile CİRİT has been designed to fill the tactical gap between 2.75” unguided rockets and anti-tank missiles. It has Mid Course Guidance with Micro Electro Mechanical Systems, the Inertial Measurement Unit as guidance and Terminal Guidance with Semi-Active Laser.

L-UMTAS is a long-range laser-guided anti-tank precision missile system developed primarily for attack helicopter platforms. The laser guidance and tandem armour-piercing warhead features of L-UMTAS ensure its effectivity against both stationary and moving targets. It uses Semi-Active Laser as seeker technology.

The 2.75” Laser Guided Missile CİRİT and L-Umtas can be integrated into various platforms such as helicopters, UAVs, land vehicles, fixed/towed land platforms, close air-support aircrafts, naval platforms, including coastguard vessels and fast patrol boats. Target designation can be carried out from the firing platform or from any other designator.
