Qatar's second Cadet Training Ship, the AL SHAMAL, has departed the ADIK shipyard
Anadolu Shipyard (ADIK) announced today the departure of the second ship of the Armed Cadet Training Project for Qatar, QTS 92 AL SHAMAL. The vessel's delivery ceremony took place on February 22, 2022.

ADIK constructed two ships for the Qatar Navy. The ships have an overall length of about 90 meters, a width of 14.2 meters, and a displacement of 2,150 tons. It has a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Apart from training missions, the ships can conduct Logistics Support, Accompaniment, and Patrol missions.
