New Crop Duster Aircraft for USAF
The United States is expanding its Counter-Insurgency (COIN) aircraft. The United States Air Force announced AT-802U Sky Warden after U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
Sky Warden is planned to replace MC-12 Liberty. The force will convert the MC-12 Formal Training Unit (FTU) to the Total Force Integration FTU to fulfil new requirements after the transition. A total of 28 AT-802Us will be delivered to the 310th Special Operations Squadron.New Crop Duster Aircraft for USAFSky Warden is developed from AT-802 crop duster aircraft. The platform is in use by various air forces. The plane offers reduced operational costs and high endurance and is suitable for different weapon and payload configurations. AT-802Us are known for their reliability. Slow flying speed and other features make the aircraft one of the platforms for COIN, armed reconnaissance and surveillance and close air support.
