Navantia Sistemas, a division of Shipyard, announced the successful integration of USV in the Combat System (SCOMBA) on board the BAM "Audaz" during tests in Cartagena in preparation for the upcoming NATO Dynamic Messenger exercises. This is the first time this integration has been achieved in a real-world setting, thanks to Navantia"s NAIAD system (Naval Advanced Integrated Autonomous Vehicle Defense system).The USV onboard is called Vendaval, and it is owned by the Port Authority of Ceuta. Navantia is also the developer of USV.
