According to defensetalks.com, this vessel is part of the massive contract of 20 gunboats for the Pakistan Navy.KS&EW is manufacturing these boats in partnership with Swift Ships.The indigenously designed gunboat has an overall length of 38.8 metres and a displacement of 220 tonnes. This boat is equipped with a 25 mm STOP Remote Controlled Stabilised Naval Gun System, developed with a Turkish defence firm, Aselsan. The delivery of 1st boat is expected in the last quarter of 2023.
