The plan is expected to be completed and delivered to the appropriate authorities at the beginning of September.

According to the daily, the EAB will become Lockheed Martin’s manufacturing and repair facility, where it will repair C-130 military transport planes and F-16 fighter jets.

The US company will not only deal with the Greek fleet but transform EAB into a hub for a significant regional market. According to the project, the first part of EAB will continue its work on fixed assets and infrastructure and will be under the control of the state. The second part of the company will carry out remaining projects, such as airframes, aircraft repairs, aircraft upgrades and engine maintenance.
