Russia started an invasion attempt on Ukraine almost a year ago. Assaults are primarily concentrated in the southeast and eastern parts of the country. But it is known that aggression forces are aiming at Western Ukraine.
International sources claimed Russia is planning a new assault for the last days of 2022 or the first days of 2023. The expected area is the Western region of Ukraine. NATO aircraft conduct constant Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) flights to support defending units from the start of the war. But today, RC-135W Rivet Jointreconnaissanceaircraft was spotted near the Belarus border over Poland. Flight can be seen as a supporting element for new operation suspects.
Ukraine mostly takes military aid and supports from its western border. Russia knows it has to cut this supply route, but attempts to this day have been unsuccessful. Invasion forces conduct missile and air assaults from time to time. However, no significant success has been achieved so far.
