Defence and Aerospace Export Volume at Increase
Turkish Defence and Aerospace Industry exports in October 2021 reached 301 million 649 thousand USD.

The Turkish Defence and Aerospace Industry sector is on the verge of reaching a three-billion-dollar export volume. According to estimates from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the sector's total exports between January 1 and October 31 of 2020 were $1 billion 808 million USD. This year, between January 1, 2021, and October 31, 2021, the sector's exports climbed by 33.3 per cent over the same time last year, reaching 2 billion 410 million USD.

When the table is examined, it is noteworthy that the export volume, which had been very low or non-existent with several nations in recent years, has suddenly appeared on the list. Among these, Baykar UCAV, which came to the fore during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's African tour, comes to mind first. Although it is uncertain what Chad and Rwanda are obtaining from Turkey, TB2 maker Baykar reported that TB2 exports reached 13 nations in October.
