“While the localization activity was carried out, a product with higher technology than the original equipment, low maintenance requirement and fully compatible with the vehicle’s drive system was created. The domestic design has superior features. It has a more comprehensive operating temperature range than the original product while it charges faster. It has low pure water consumption, no corrosive gas emission, longer life, and no need for electrolyte replacement not contain graphite. With this project, which is the first localization project realized on a fleet basis, foreign dependency was avoided in the supply of Ni-Cd type battery groups.”
