The engine model was stated by Tymofiy Mylovanov, former Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine in the government of Oleksiy Honcharuk. He had stated that SE Ivchenko-Progress would develop an AI-35 engine for Turkey, which would be based on AI-305.
TurDef, however, learned that Motor Sich proposes an MS400 small size turbofan engine to Turkey. The company exhibits its solution at Saha Expo.
