“Let’s get back to the Bayraktar topic. The state buys Bayraktar for us. We have them in service, and (we) do not stop at this. We will increase them more. We are using them correctly, incorrectly – this was the decision of the commander-in-chief. We saw on the screen that our soldiers were firing. They (the enemy’s army – ed.) Violated the Minsk agreements, “Shaptala said on the air.” 1 + 1 “.
The General Staff of
the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously reported that the military used the
Bayraktar drone in the Donbas for the first time and destroyed the enemy’s
howitzer with a bomb.
Oleksiy Arestovich, a freelance advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine and a press secretary of the Kyiv delegation in the contact group on Donbas, said that using an attack UAV does not violate the Minsk agreements.
The Permanent
Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, called
Ukraine’s use of Bayraktar in Donbas a very dangerous game. Kyiv may not
imagine its consequences.
Russia, France and
Germany claim that OSCE’s Minsk Agreement forbids Ukraine to use UAVs 15 km
within the conflict zone.
