Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). MIMOS is known as the technology

Next, he will go to Malacca to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM) about HÜRJET advanced jet trainer. CTRM is the centre oF excellence in composites and aerospace in Malaysia.
Professor Kotil commented on the newly opened office,
saying, “With the engineers that we will employ within the scope of our new
office, we will strengthen ties between the two countries and support important
studies for Malaysia and Turkey to develop joint projects in the field of
aviation and defence.” As a result, we intend to leverage our half-century of
aviation experience in aviation, space, and defence as part of combined efforts
with Malaysia to enhance the global aviation sector, particularly in our
respective areas. I hope that our newly created office in Malaysia will be
advantageous to bilateral ties, and I would like to thank my colleagues for
their efforts.”
Merve Safa Kavakçı, Turkey’s Ambassador to Kuala
Lumpur, said on Turkish Aerospace Industries’ cooperation and investments in
Malaysia: “We have excellent political and commercial relations with Malaysia.”
We have full intention and support for this to move forward with new
cooperation in the defence industry. Our strategic alliance partner Malaysia is
our most important Southeast Asian commercial partner. It, like our country, is
in a highly vital location. Today’s opening also illustrates our country’s
firms’ faith in a strong, stable, and successful Malaysia.”
