The United Kingdom wraps up additional A400M procurement plans. The budget constraints are the main reason for the decision.

London scrapped plans to acquire additional A400M Atlas C1 airlifters. The National Audit Office (NAO) published information about the decision in the “Equipment Plan 2022 to 2032” document. The report said, “An option to purchase additional A400M aircraft was assessed as unaffordable. Air Command is developing an affordable choice to improve A400M availability. Some funding is held centrally.”
