NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg counted TB2s in Ukraine as key capabilities that Turkey has provided to Ukraine. Stoltenberg held a press conference following the emergency meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels. The U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with counterparts ahead of his visits to Moldova, Poland and the Baltic states to discuss Russia’s assault on Ukraine.

A reporter's question was about NATO to create a new permanent structure or designate the allies on a permanent rotating basis to coordinate bilateral weapons transfers from the allies to the anticipated next crisis regions.

Secretary-General Stoltenberg said that NATO needs a pragmatic approach and noted in the example of Ukraine, and NATO provided some types of support. Stoltenberg stated that NATO had an office in Kyiv to modernise the defence and security institutions, command and control logistics, cyber systems, and create some naval capabilities. He added that individual allies provided more of the lethal aid and military training. Secretary-General gave examples of such support and said, “Especially, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada who has provided most of the equipment and most of the training. Turkey has provided some key capabilities, including drones and also some of the Baltic states that provided some military support before the invasion. “
