Following the broadcast, a photo of the TB2 in maintenance and a video of it flying in the dark at night were made public. TB2's geometry is depicted in the video. The publication made a second post stating that the news was confirmed; “Daily Jubba sources have just confirmed that Somalia has received its first shipment of Bayraktar TB2 Drones.”

Turkish Armed Forces trained the 9th Unit of Gorgor Commandos in Isparta, Turkey. The soldiers are under the Somali National Army, and they returned to Mogadishu after completing their Commando Basic Course.
