ROK To Acquire Chinook
The State Department has decided to approve a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Republic of Korea (ROK) of CH-47F helicopters and related equipment for an estimated cost of $1.5 billion.
The Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today. ROK has requested 18 CH-47F helicopters; 42 T55-GA-714A engines (36 installed, six spares). The estimated total program cost is $1.5 billion.ROK To Acquire Chinook
