PN MilGem is a stretched derivation of Turkish MilGem Ada class anti-submarine warfare corvettes. The system is intended to enhance the blue water capability of the Pakistan Navy. Platforms are equipped with better weapon payload than their predecessors. According to the agreement, two vessels are built in Istanbul, and two vessels are built in Karachi. The recent ceremony in Istanbul was for the second ship built in Turkiye. There is still one ship in the shipyard under construction in Pakistan.
