Many countries are sending military aid to Ukraine in response to Russian aggression. Pakistan is planning to deliver ammunition, according to local sources.

Local media claims that the Pakistani shipping company Project Shipping plans to deliver ammunition to Ukraine. Delivery is scheduled for the second half of January from Karachi to Gdansk Port of Poland. The expected volume of shipment is around 159 containers.

Sources are drawing attention to possible barter between Pakistan and Ukraine. Pakistan may receive Ukraine's assistance in modernising its Mi-17 utility helicopter fleet in return for ammunition. Ukraine and Pakistan have cooperated on many defence items in the past.
