It is learned that Turkiye’s growing defence export and import volume led the company to appoint an experienced person in the defence sector.
After his Air Force retirement, Özmen worked in various
defence industry companies. He was last the Head of Corporate Marketing and
Communications at Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ). He negotiated and signed contracts with Pakistan and the Philippines to export the T129 Atak helicopter.
