New Submarine to Russian Baltic Fleet
Russia has announced another completion of acceptance tests. Russian Project 636.6 (NATO Reporting Name: Kilo) class submarine RFNS Ufa passed the trials. The process has been carried out at the Baltic Sea. During trials, mechanisms, systems, weapons and technical units when submerged and surfaced positions. It is reported that the sonar and radio equipment were also tested while the submarine was at full speed. It is known that RFNS Ufa has tested 190 metres depth also.
