Rheinmetall established a manufacturing infrastructure in Hungary. The company published a document about the process. According to official information, the factory has started to initial production phase of the KF41 Lynx Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) and Lance turret of platforms. Hungary will acquire 46 Lynx and related equipment and other vehicles in the line of agreement. The country will produce further 172 Lynx in the local plant.
Hungary is establishing a new platform factory in Zalaegerszeg as a part of the ZALAZone Industrial Complex. The centre of excellence is also expected for the plant. Hungary aims to achieve significant technology and industrial gains with step.
