On the second day of the visit, the first-ever by Israeli Minister Gantz, signed an MoU with Bahrain’s Defence minister Abdullah Bin Hassan Al Nuaimi to formalise security ties between the countries.
The MoU will promote intelligence cooperation, institutionalise training
and formalise cooperation between the defence industries.
The Israeli Defence Ministry quoted defence minister Benny Gantz as
saying, “Only one year following the signing of the (Abraham) Accords, we have
achieved an important defence agreement which will contribute to the security
of both countries and the stability of the region.”
