SSB President Demir announced the meeting on social media by saying, “We discussed the benefits of IDEF for our national defence industry and started our efforts to make the next fair even more efficient.”

Demir is also the Chairman of the Executive Board at the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, which organises the IDEF.
