Ministry of Defence announced that the inspection and acceptance trials of the "Low Altitude Air Defence Missile System (HİSAR-A) Project" are completed on May 3, 2021. HİSAR-A missile intercepted target aircraft successfully. HİSAR-A missile was fired from the Autonomous Missile Launching System at the Aksaray Fire Range.


The Presidency of Defence Industries announced the same development as HİSAR-A +, the extended version of HiSAR-A. The missile performance increases both in altitude and range when the missile is marked with sign +.

The autonomous configuration of HİSAR A +, Turkey's first national and domestic air defence missile system developed by ASELSAN and ROKETSAN.

HİSAR A + Completes Acceptance Tests

The Missile Launching Systems works in coordination with the Firing Management Device and the Self-Propelled Autonomous Low Altitude Air Defence Missile System (Autonomous HİSAR A +). The HİSAR-A + will have the ability to operate fully autonomously after the missiles enter the inventory.

HİSAR A + Completes Acceptance Tests

The HİSAR Air Defence Missiles will defend military bases, ports, facilities and troops against rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, cruise missiles, air-to-ground missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). HİSAR-A and HİSAR-O have a modular structure as part of their family concept. They are designed to be compatible with different platforms, fire control and command control infrastructures.
