According to Israel based Debka File, Russia abandons its bases in Syria and transfers its forces to Ukraine.
Israeli Debka File is famous for its intelligence gathering power. It is, therefore, primarily associated with Israel’s intelligence.
The publication announced on May 6th that the Russian units deployed to Syria are assembling at the air bases of Hmeimim, Qamishli, Deir e-Zor and T4. They will be transferred to Ukraine. Additionally, according to the newspaper, the Russians are handing over strategic bases to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and Hizballah.
Assuming the information supplied is correct, a new power struggle in Syria may erupt in the area, with Iran asserting its dominance over Syrian territory.
