The helicopter group is one of the strategic groups of TUSAŞ as the company produces T129 ATAK Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter, T625 GÖKBEY Utility Helicopter, T929 Heavy Class Attack Helicopter, T70 Utility Helicopter, 10 Ton Class Utility Helicopter and Helicopter Modernization programs.

TUSAŞ has delivered ATAK helicopters to the Turkish Armed Forces Ministry of Defence and exported them to the Philippines. The GÖKBEY helicopter is planned to be made to the Gendarmerie this year. The Heavy Class Attack Helicopter prototype and the mass production of the T70 continue under the Turkish Utility Helicopter Project (TUHP).
