Last week, Vice President Fuat Oktay said at the parliament that
the serial production of HİSAR-O+ started. Oktay said” “HİSAR O+ infrared
imager (IIR) guided missile deliveries will be completed by 2022.” Demir said
that the tests are not over yet. “Everything is ready for the manufacturer. We
are at a point where we can deliver by the end of this year. However, the
user's testing continues. Therefore, we would see that it enters the inventory
in the early stages of the new year.”
SSB, ASELSAN and ROKETSAN signed the
HİSAR-O+ Serial Production Contract during IDEF. HİSAR-O+ is designed to intercept
fixed and rotary wing air platforms, cruise missiles and UAVs.
