The aircraft’s name is
unknown. As a result, it is referred to as the J-20S, J-20AS, or possibly the
J-20B. The aircraft is seen with its green paint at Chengdu Aerospace
Corporation plant during taxiing. It is not known whether it performed its
maiden flight. There were some other images from the twin-seat aircraft but
appeared to be fabricated ones.
There are several fifth-generation aeroplanes on the market. They are all single-seaters. The platform benefits greatly from the single-seat configuration. Twin-seat occupies more space than single-seat. It adds extra weight to the platform. The canopy, which is a crucial issue in reducing radar cross-section, grows larger with twin-seat.
The twin-seat variant,
on the other hand, enables pilot training. On the other hand, modern
fly-by-wire aircraft require less actual flight training, and the majority of
it is done in simulators. As the aeroplane transforms into a flying sensor, two
pilots may divide the load. The information arriving from various sources may clash
with the pilot’s limited cognitive and processing capabilities.
