The Brisbane-based firm has been chosen to
supply the Australian Army with a batch of UAS systems as part of a $650
million investment in local capability.
The acquisition and initial contract period
with Insitu Pacific Limited are estimated to be worth approximately $307
million. The contract includes delivery and initial support of the Integrator
UAS and associated Ground Systems and Prime Systems Integrator services, with
the majority of manufacture and all assembly to be completed in Australia.
The platforms will be manufactured at the company’s
facility in Brisbane, and the delivery is expected in 2023 and 2024.
