Azerbaijan is very experienced in mine cleaning. MEMATT minesweepers will be soon used in the Azerbaijani army in territories recently liberated from Armenia’s occupation, according to the former statement of Maj. Gen. Anar Karimov, the head of the engineering and fortification service of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
