ASFAT Delivered two MEMATT to Togo
Turkish Defence Ministry’s export company ASFAT delivered to unmanned minesweeper vehicle MEMATT to Togo. MEMATT is a remote piloted unmanned ground vehicle designed to neutralise anti-personal mines.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is in Africa tour. He today attended the delivery ceremony of two MEMATTs to the Togo Armed Forces. Togo President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé Eyadéma, Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar, Togo Minister of Armed Forces Essossimna Marguerite Gnakade attended the delivery ceremony. ASFAT announced the delivery from its social media accounts in Turkish and in French. “MEMATT export at full speed! After Azerbaijan and Burkina Faso and now Togo. ASFAT delivered two MEMATTs to Togo in the presence of our president @RTErdogan, Togolese President Gnassingbe, our Minister of Defense @tcsavunma Hulusi Akar and Minister of the Togolese Armies Gnakade.
